6 Hour Adult Driver Education
Effective July 1, 2014 Public Act 98-167 requires Illinois driver鈥檚 license applicants ages 18, 19, or 20, who have never previously been licensed or completed an approved driver education course, to complete a six hour (6 hr) Adult Driver Education Course.
We are proud to inform that 色中色 Inc, was one of the first driving schools that was approved as a licensed provider by Secretary of State Office to offer 6 hrs adult driver education course.
6 Hour Adult Driver Education program covers a variety of traffic safety topics including but not limited to current traffic laws; highway signs, signals and markings; issues commonly associated with motor vehicle crashes such as poor decision-making, risk taking, impaired driving, driver distraction including use of cell phones and text messaging, speed, failure to use a safety belt, driving at night, and failure to yield the right-of-way. The six hour course is composed of classroom time only. It does not include, and is not required to include, any behind-the-wheel training.
After completing the 6 Hour Adult Driver Education program and passing your final test, you will receive an e-mail from the Secretary of State at the e-mail address you provided to our school. This e-mail will include an attachment with your Certificate of Completion. Once you have printed the certificate, bring your certificate to the nearest with your other and complete the remaining requirements.
